Some background: we had hired another company — a so-called luxury renovation contractor in Westchester with a portfolio of high-end homes — to handle our roof and siding. On the very last day of their work, we discovered flooding on two floors of our house. They had struck three radiator pipes that we had explicitly pointed out to them beforehand, and they walked off the job without taking any responsibility.
